About Us
Our names are Stacey and Darren Skelding.

We live in small town in the West Midlands, called Sedgley.
About 10 miles from Birmingham.

I have had Birmans and other rescue cats all my life, along
with a large variety of other animals including dogs, horses,
guinea pigs and rabbits. The list goes on.....

My first Birmans were two sisters called Anika and Charlotte.
A Blue and a Seal point. Anika sadly died of a growth in her
intestines when she was 8 years old, and Charlotte, who came
to live with me and Darren in 2006 when we moved in to our
first house, unfortunately had to be put to rest in November
2007 after a short fight with kidney failure. Only 4 days
before her 16th birthday.

We had three other Birmans from a litter of 4 in 2006. Two
wonderful boys and a beautiful little girl. They came from
Polapawz Birmans in Nottingham. Both boys have done very
well out on the show bench, while thier sister sadly, does not
have the correct points to be taken to shows, but we wouldn't
change her for the world!

Later on came our first breeding queen. Mentobe Mama Mia.
From our friends Susie and Mark Harris. Followed shortly
after by a 2nd queen, Chandalini Phoebe snow, from our
friends Michelle and Simon Harte.

After the cats, came our name 'Bostin Birmans'. If you are
from around the Black country area, then you will know exactly
what Bostin means. For those of you who are not familiar with
the local slang, it simply means GREAT!
